BabyHQ Support

If you are in labour right now: the contraction timer is free, needs no account, and works offline. Tap Trackers, then Begin. Everything else here can wait.
The timer says my contractions aren't 5-1-1 yet. Should I wait?
No — not on the app’s account. BabyHQ reports a pattern in the numbers you recorded; it cannot see your pregnancy, your history, or what your provider told you. If you were told to call at a particular point, call at that point. If something feels wrong, seek care regardless of what the screen says.
What does 5-1-1 mean here?
Contractions about five minutes apart, each lasting about a minute, sustained for a full hour. BabyHQ looks at the most recent unbroken run of contractions rather than an average of everything, so an earlier slow stretch does not hide a pattern that has since tightened up. It needs at least three timed contractions before it says anything.
I tapped START by accident.
Stop it, then press and hold that row in Recent Contractions and choose Delete this contraction. Removing it also removes it from the pattern calculation.
How do I switch from pregnancy mode to newborn mode?
Open Settings inside the app and turn off Still expecting, then set a date of birth. The dashboard and Trackers tab switch from the contraction timer to the feeding, diaper, and sleep trackers. You can switch back at any time.
What does Premium unlock?
The feeding, diaper, and sleep trackers, appointment tracking with calendar sync, and the widgets. The contraction timer, hospital bag checklist, and emergency contacts are free forever — deliberately, so nobody meets a paywall during labour. Premium is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it is Family Sharing enabled.
I bought Premium but a new phone shows it locked.
Open Settings inside BabyHQ and tap Restore Purchase, making sure the device is signed in to the Apple Account you bought with.
My widget isn't updating.
Widgets refresh when you log something and otherwise on a schedule iOS controls, so a few minutes of lag is normal. If it is stuck, open BabyHQ once — the dashboard pushes fresh totals to the widget whenever it appears. Widgets require Premium.
I'm not getting feeding reminders.
Check Settings › Apps › BabyHQ › Notifications on your iPhone, and that reminders are switched on inside BabyHQ. Reminders are scheduled locally, so iOS decides exactly when to deliver them and Low Power Mode or Focus can delay them.
Can I move my data to a new phone?
Yes, through a device backup — restoring an iPhone backup restores BabyHQ’s data with it. There is no account and no cloud sync, so a backup is the only route. We hold no copy and cannot recover anything for you.
Still stuck?
