BabyHQ Terms of Use

BabyHQ is published by NoSleepLab. Installing and using it means accepting what follows. The most important part is the second section, so it is near the top.
What you get
A license to use BabyHQ on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell it, redistribute it, or try to extract its source. The app itself remains ours.
BabyHQ is not medical advice
This matters more than anything else here. BabyHQ is a timer and a log. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose anything, and it is not a substitute for your midwife, doctor, or any other clinician.
The contraction timer reports a pattern — how far apart your contractions have been and how long they have lasted. When it says that pattern has met “5-1-1”, that is an observation about the numbers you recorded, not an instruction and not an assessment of your labour. 5-1-1 is a common rule of thumb and it does not fit every pregnancy.
Your provider’s instructions override the app, always. If you were told to call at a particular point, call at that point, whatever BabyHQ shows. If something feels wrong, seek care — do not wait for the app to agree with you. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number.
The same applies to the twelve-week timeline and any other guidance in the app: it describes what is common, not what is right for your baby.
Your data is your responsibility
BabyHQ stores everything locally on your iPhone and nowhere else. We hold no copy, which means we cannot restore anything for you. If you want your records to survive a lost or wiped phone, keep device backups turned on. Deleting the app deletes its data.
Purchases
BabyHQ Premium is a one-time, non-consumable purchase, not a subscription, and it is Family Sharing enabled. Apple processes the payment and Apple’s terms govern it, including refunds — we cannot issue refunds ourselves. Use Restore Purchase in Settings to unlock Premium on another device signed in to the same Apple Account. The contraction timer, hospital bag checklist, and emergency contacts are free and will remain so.
No warranty
BabyHQ is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be free of bugs, that a timer will never be interrupted by the operating system, or that a notification will always arrive — iOS decides when to deliver those and may delay or drop them. Do not rely on BabyHQ as the only thing standing between you and a decision that matters.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NoSleepLab is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of BabyHQ, including decisions made in reliance on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
These terms may change as the app does. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date above, and continuing to use BabyHQ after that means accepting them.
