It says I've hit my receipt limit.
The free plan saves ten receipts per calendar month. The count resets on the first of the month, and Pro removes the cap entirely. Nothing you have already saved is affected either way.
What does Pro actually add?
Unlimited receipts, and CSV and ZIP export. PDF export, tax categories, business justification, search and month filtering are all free and stay free. Pro is a one-time purchase — not a subscription — and it unlocks on every device signed in to the same Apple Account.
The scanned merchant or total is wrong.
Faded thermal paper is hard to read and the scan is an estimate, so this is expected often enough that every field is editable. Open the receipt and correct it — the photo stays attached, so you can always check against the original.
My export preview says 0 receipts.
The preview counts only receipts whose date falls inside the range you picked, so check the start and end dates first — a range ending before your most recent receipt is the usual cause. The count and total update as soon as you change either date.
Which export should I use?
PDF for handing to an accountant — it is a formatted report with the images in it. CSV for a spreadsheet or bookkeeping software. ZIP when you need everything, including the original photo of every receipt.
Do I need to cancel anything?
No. Pro is a one-time purchase, so there is no subscription and nothing renews. If you want a refund that is between you and Apple — Report a Problem on your receipt from the App Store. A refund revokes Pro and the free limits return, but nothing you have saved is deleted.
I paid but the app says I'm on the free plan.
Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases, making sure you are signed into the same Apple Account that bought it. The App Store is what the app asks, so a restore is instant when the account matches. If it still does not appear, email us with the date of the purchase.
Can I move my data to a new phone?
Through a device backup — restoring an iPhone backup restores ReceiptLog’s receipts and photos with it. There is no account and no sync, so a backup is the only route and we hold no copy. If you want a portable copy, export a ZIP first.
How do I delete everything?
Settings › Delete All Data. It removes every receipt, photo and setting, and it cannot be undone — export first if you might want any of it.
