Terminal-style Ctrl+W word delete that works in every macOS app, not just the shell

WordEraser rewrites Ctrl+W, Ctrl+U, Ctrl+K, and Alt+D into the macOS text-deletion commands, so readline-style editing works everywhere — browsers, Electron apps, native text fields, all of it. Ctrl+W and Ctrl+U are on by default because they are pure rewrites and safe anywhere; Ctrl+K and Alt+D are opt-in since they synthesize a select-and-delete sequence. Onboarding, a settings window, per-shortcut toggles, and launch-at-login are all built in.

What it does

Ctrl+W deletes the previous word in any app
Ctrl+U, Ctrl+K, and Alt+D rewrites (opt-in)
Per-shortcut toggles and launch at login
Works in Electron apps and browsers, not just terminals

Who this is for

Anyone whose fingers already know readline and keeps closing browser tabs by accident.

WordEraser is still in the lab

Built and running, but not packaged for release — so there is nothing honest to link to yet. It ships when it ships.
