About DesktopRecord

DesktopRecord is built to screenshot the desktop on an interval through the day and run Apple's Vision OCR across the captures, so text that was only ever on screen becomes searchable. Around that sit a visual timeline of the day, a search over anything that has appeared, and app-usage analytics with pie charts and weekly trends. Privacy controls are there to exclude named apps or whole time periods, retention settings cap how much is kept, and every stage — capture, OCR, storage — is designed to stay on your own Mac.
