About Vault

Vault is built to encrypt files with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption and unlock them with Touch ID through the Keychain. Decoy vaults are designed to open on a second password for plausible deniability, and secure delete overwrites three times — random, zeros, random — before the space is handed back. It locks itself on a timer, on screen lock and on system sleep, with a panic lock on ⌘⇧L meant to seal everything in one keystroke. Finder gains a right-click 'Add to Vault' entry, and keys are derived with PBKDF2 at 600K iterations to make guessing the password expensive.
